Why is BTEC an insult?

  1. It is being referred to as a bad version of something good.
  2. For example, “Kingston Carnival is the Btec version of Notting Hill” or “I’ve had enuf of my Btec phone”.
  3. I just want to be comfortable, like a Btec yute on A-level results day.

Does Oxford university accept BTEC?
