6 Famous Parks and Pictures in Jaipur
Jaipur is known as the Pink City. It has a large number of majestic palaces and forts. Its name “Pink City” comes from the fact that most of the forts and palaces here are built with red sandstone, which gives the whole city a pink hue, hence the name. The city was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh and named after him. Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Nahargarh Fort are just a few of the historical monuments that the city has.

1. Jawahar Circle:
As the name suggests, the shape of this park is completely circular. But its appeal is that it is not only India, but also the largest circular park in Asia! In addition to its enormous size and shape, the park also features a beautiful rose garden and musical fountain! The recently added jogging track makes this park a great place for a morning jog. It is located near Sangana Airport. Developed by the Jaipur Development Authority, it is one of the most famous places in Jaipur.
2. Karnak Vrindavan:
This garden is built in the valley of Mount Aravali. The park has lush gardens with well-maintained trees, plants and flowers. It also has many unique buildings such as “chhatris” and complex buildings along the walls. These structures include typical buildings found in palaces and Taj Mahal throughout Jaipur. A series of beautiful fountains have also been added. The Govind Devji Temple is located within its walls. The garden was founded over 200 years ago and has a rich personality.

3. Ram Niwas Gardens:
This is another historical garden built by some Rajput maharajas a few years ago. Among other things, the gardens have a zoo and a bird park! It also has a gym, art gallery and Ravindra Rang Manch theatre. It is evident that it extends over a vast area of 76 acres. The Central Museum is also built within its walls. It’s a fun place and certainly worth your time.
4. Sisodia Rani Bagh:
This exquisite garden is named after the queen’s palace it adorns, Sisodia. She is a majestic queen from the Suryawanshi family of the Rajputs. The garden is located a few kilometers away from Jaipur. Painted pavilions, waterways and fountains are the elements that make this multi-level fountain beautiful. The palace above the gardens is as beautiful as the gardens themselves, and the architecture is exquisite.

5. Vidyadar Gardens:
This garden is also located a few kilometers away from Jaipur, near the Sisodia Gardens. Like many other charming gardens in Jaipur, the Vidyadar Gardens are exquisite and beautiful. Named after its architect, it has a layered structure similar to the Sisodia Gardens. The pavilions here depict spectacular murals of Lord Krishna and special events in his life. This is the ideal place to experience the past of Mughal and Rajput palace gardens.

6. Central Park:
Developed by the Jaipur Development Authority, the park has a huge lush garden, a golf course and even the Rambagh polo field. It has a separate concrete track for joggers and morning runners. The surrounding flora and fauna provide a peaceful setting for the above activities. Jaipur is a city full of palaces, almost all of them with gardens and parks built by ancient maharajas. However, Central Park has recently opened and thus has more modern architecture. It even has several species of birds that attract several bird lovers from time to time.
