Jharkhand is a state in East India. The name Jharkhand means “land of forests” and the state is rich in mineral resources. Tourism in Jharkhand contributes to the state’s share of the economy. Tourism has grown rapidly with the influx of foreigners into the state. Forests, museums, wildlife sanctuaries, places of worship, etc. are all places that attract tourists.
1. Ranchi Hill:
Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand and holds 50% of the state’s total mineral resources. There is a hill in the center of Ranchi, 2,140 feet high, full of greenery. Tourists like to spend some quiet time here, away from the busy streets. There is a Shiva temple with the most devotees during Shravan.
2. Baidyanath Dham:
Baidyanath Dham is a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, 72 feet above the ground, with a pyramid-shaped tower. There is a balcony built in the temple, facing north, where Lord Shiva’s “linga” is bathed in milk and water.

3. Temple of the Sun:
The Temple of the Sun is an enchanting beauty that amazes visitors with its design and the picturesque surrounding area. It was built by a charitable trust called Sanskrit Vihar on a site near Bundu station on the Tata-Ranchi highway.
4. Dasam Falls:
The Kanchi River descends 144 feet and the waterfall is called Dassam Falls. It is one of the most visited waterfalls in the Northeast and attracts not only Indian tourists but also foreigners. Dasam Waterfall is located near the village of Temara on the Tata-Ranchi highway. The sound of water can be heard everywhere. The waterfall is suitable for an adventurous picnic.

5. Palam Fortress:
There are two forts in Aurangabad Forest, located on Sher Shah Suri path near Daltonganj. They were built by the Wanvasi king of the Chero dynasty and were named Palamu Forts. The building tells us about the tourists conquered by Daud Khan.
6. Jharkhand War Memorial:
The war memorial in Jharkhand was built to commemorate all the soldiers who lost their lives in the war, from the independence of the state to the present. The structure of the cemetery is shaped like a human body. It has a museum documenting the country’s past, traditions, modern weapons, heritage and more.

7. Jamshedpur:
Singhbum is a subdivision bordering Ranchi city. The most famous town here is Jamshedpur, named after industrialist Jamshedit Tata, the founder of Tata Industries Group. Jamshedpur attracts students, researchers, etc. in need of training. The government has been developing the city to make it more beautiful in the eyes of tourists. 8. Dambad:

The Damodar River plays a vital role in the coal fields, and the Barak River also flows through the city.
