Varanasi or Banaras is a pilgrimage site for Hindus located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. As we all know, the Ghats are the most important tourist attraction. Every thing or every place has something to do with history or mythology that brings back the age of travelers to the story of gods and goddesses.

Dasawamed Ghat:
Dasaswamedh Ghat is best known for the fact that Lord Bramha is believed to have sacrificed ten horses at this site in order to allow Lord Shiva to return from exile. It is the oldest Ghat in Varanasi and has been well maintained since it was first renovated by Bajirao Peswa I in 1740. This place is surrounded by many must visit temples.
Kashgar Vishwan Temple:
Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most famous temples in Varanasi and has been dedicated to one of the incarnations of Lord Shiva known as Kashi Vishwanath. The temple has two domes and is made of gold donated in 1839 by Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Punjab.

Durga Temple:
Durga Temple was built in the 18th century by a Bengali queen and dedicated to Goddess Durga. The architectural theme is the Nagara style of North India. There is also a rectangular tank called Durga Kund. Tourists visiting this place will find hordes of monkeys inside the temple.
Ramnagar Fort:
Ramnagar Fort is located on the banks of the Ganges and was built by Maharaja Balwant Singh. The fort is inhabited by the ancestral kings of Banaras, and even now, the dead of the royal family live there. The fort is built of red sandstone and includes a museum and a temple.

Ramnagar Museum:
Ramnagar Museum also known as Banaras Vidya Mandir Museum is located within the complex of Ramnagar Fort. The fort exhibits artifacts and artifacts from the medieval period, many of which once belonged to the Banaras royal family. It also offers weapons and armor, ornate sedan chairs, manuscripts, furniture, different textiles, and more.
Kidagat:
Kedar Ghat is located in the southernmost part of Varanasi. It is named after Lord Shiva, also known as Kedarnath, and there is a beautiful Shiva temple next to Ghat. The most popular tourists here are Bangladeshis and South Indians. There is a nearby pond, Parvati Kund, known for its medicinal properties.

Manikarnica Ghat:
The Manikarnika Ghat on the banks of the Ganges is considered sacred because it is believed that burning the body in the crematorium of Ghat will give the soul “moksh” or “mukti”. There is a holy place called Manikarnika Kund, and a temple of Lord Shiva and Durga.
Gian Kupp:
Gyan Kup is a well that imposes a pavilion. It was built in 182 by Rani Baiza Bai, Queen of Gwalior. It is considered a religious site in Varanasi because of the belief that water provides spiritual enlightenment. It is located at the entrance of the Kashgar Vishwanath Temple.
Bharat Mata Temple:
Bharat Mata Temple is one of the most unique temples in the country. It was built by Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta. A shrine dedicated to Mother India, it is a beautiful marble structure that provides a three-dimensional view of parts of the land, mountains, sea, and more.
Hanuman Ghat:
In mythology, it is known that Lord Ram built the Ghat and dedicated it to his disciple Hanuman. Ghats are popular with wrestlers and wrestling matches as Hanuman is a power king. There is a famous Hanuman Temple nearby which must be visited.
