Ernakulam’s Children’s Park, also known as Indira Priyadarshini Park, provides a lifetime of entertainment for children of all ages. Some of the park’s highlights are its pedal rowing pool, roller skating classes, and mini toy trains that allow kids to go for a ride throughout the park. The Musical Fountain in the middle of the park is another attraction, where children can be seen dancing to the tune of the music.
The latest addition is a renewable energy park where children are educated about the many natural energy sources and their functions. 3. Veegaland Amusement Park and Water Park:
India’s first water theme park is located at Pallikkara in Ernakulam district at an altitude of 77 m. The park is built according to international standards and thus sets benchmarks in terms of safety and hygiene. Water-based rides and pools go through a rigorous water purification process, while seat belts on more electrified rides are checked daily.
The rides in the park are divided into water rides, hair-raising rides, children’s rides and family rides, suitable for people of all ages. The park is further landscaped with plants and trees, making it a nice picnic spot.

4. Park Avenue:
Kochi or Ernakulam’s Park Avenue is a famous boulevard lined with 45 flowering trees. The 1km segment starts at Gandhi Round and ends at Broadway. The road is located in the park area and is surrounded by several historic buildings. The towering trees form a canopy on the way, giving it an old-fashioned charm that definitely makes it a well worth a visit.
